Powers # 21 (Vol 2) – Review

December 5th, 2006 by JP · No Comments

Powers # 21 (Vol 2)
Writer: Brian Michael Bendis; Pencils and Inks: Mike Avon Oeming;
Powers # 21 cover

- Bendis is moving away from his typical witty banter and aiming for a more traditional approach to dialogue. The back-and-forth wordplay got quite old at times, so the change provides a much more pleasant read.

- The last-page introduction of the Secret Service as players gives the plot a huge boost. The current storyline was moving at painfully glacial speeds. Hopefully this new revelation will move us further along at a faster pace.
