Rex Libris # 13
Convergence of Chaos
Created by James Turner;
Slave Labor Graphics (SLG Publishing)

And with this issue Rex Libris not only wraps up the Cthulhu 2 storyline, but it also reaches the end as a quarterly comic. Perhaps Turner will bring it back one day in graphic novel form, but for now it’s all over.
Rather than re-hash the gushing (and deserved) praise I’ve previously heaped on this comic, let me merely offer some thanks to those involved.
Thank you, James Turner, for turning out such fantastic work. Thank you for a comic that could be funny without being dumb. Thank you for a comic which could be quirky without living and dying by the quirk. And, most of all, thank you for not wasting my time, for making me feel like every minute spent with an issue of Rex Libris was worthwhile.
Thanks, SLG Publishing, for taking a chance with Rex Libris. And for sticking by it for so long. It’s Rex Libris that made me pay attention to the other great stuff coming out from your offices, and I’m looking forward to more great reads.
And thanks to everyone else involved with Rex Libris, whether I knew of you or not. Your work is appreciated.
And thanks and goodbye to B. Barry Horst. I’ll miss you most of all.
