If there’s one thing I learned from watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer , it’s that no villain can ever be completely defeated. Warren is a great villain, and it’s fantastic to see him back in the Buffy universe. His obsession with proving his greatness makes him perfectly evil and an even more perfect foil for Buffy as he competes with her.
With Season 7’s end, it appeared that so much of the show’s reliance on prophecy no longer had meaning. It’s great that Whedon brought back some of that with the general’s prediction that eventually Buffy won’t be satisfied with the world and will try to shape it to her desires. The huge numbers of slayers may prevent some of that, but having more slayers also means better chances for one of them to go bad. What an awesome series with so many possibilities.
