Testament # 11
Writer: Douglas Rushkoff; Art: Peter Gross, Gary Erskine
Some random notes on Testament # 11:
- Subtitling the book of Job as “Shit Happens” is the best description ever. That line should be printed in every Bible ever.
- Testament is finally coming into its own by deviating from the direction the Old Testament stories were written. If anyone was thinking of jumping on this book, now would be a good time to read all the back issues and start picking the rest up new.
- It’s interesting how the outside interferences from the gods doesn’t really change the direction of the story, even when that interference is quite direct. It’s all about the choices the people inside the stories make. It will be interesting to see the level Rushkoff takes this to.
