Scalped # 6 cover

So, Scalped is a bit of a heroic story, as Catcher shows up for a full appearance. He’s the supernatural Oracle-esque character I’ve been waiting for ever since the brief glimpse in issue 3. But, given how twisted every other character has been, I wonder if he will direct Bad Horse in the right direction.

The only complaint I’ve had about the series so far is from this issue’s scene at the chicken ranch. The scene has a lot of action, but the very dark inks make it tough to determine what happens. If that’s the only annoying bit out of 6 issues, then Scalped is pretty damn good.

Added: And I note that I just got a link from Jason Aaron’s blog. Awesome!
