DC – Vertigo

A well-written story with fantastic art yet again. But, I have the feeling that things are about to get much, much worse, and Dashiell has nothing but bad decisions in front of him from now on. There’s no good way out of being stuck between his work, his culture, and his desire for revenge.
Mr. Brass is the most frightening character so far in Scalped. All of the other characters have lost their cool at some point, but Brass presents himself as someone who has seen much and knows how to handle it all. It’s also a nod to how small-time Red Crow really is, as Mr. Brass and the rest of the Hmongs don’t seem to be afraid of anything.
